ACORNS
Our Acorns Out of School Club offers wraparound childcare for preschool and school-aged children that attend Chuter Ede Primary School, Balderton site. We accept children up to age 11 years. Our dedicated Preschool staff work alongside Acorns playworkers to create great activities for the children to enjoy. Some examples of the activities on offer are arts and crafts, lego for all ages, messy play, outdoor sports and board games galore! SERVICES WE OFFER
At Acorns we offer:
- Breakfast club: We open at 7:30am when breakfast will be served. We offer toast and multiple cereal options. Milk and water are available throughout the morning. Breakfast service finishes at 8:15am. Activities are available for the children until 8:30am. School children are then escorted to their classrooms and Preschool children are supervised in the caterpillar room.

- Afterschool club: Afterschool club runs from 3.15pm until 6pm. Children in foundation, Y1 and Y2 are collected from school and brought back to the setting. Years 3,4,5 and 6 make there way over independently where a register is then taken. At around 4pm, we will serve the children a hot meal that is made on site by the Preschool cook following all healthy eating guidelines. The children are then free to take part in all the activities on offer.

Holiday
Club
During school holidays our holiday club is open from 8am to 6pm everyday apart from bank holidays and Christmas. We accept Preschool children that attend our setting and children aged 4-11 from the local and surrounding schools.
We offer two session times 8am-6pm and 9am-3pm. Breakfast and a hot meal at tea time is provided, your child will need a packed lunch (We are a nut free setting, this includes peanut butter, chocolate speads ect.) We have a variety of activities on offer and enjoy trips to the park, library and the local area.
