Balderton Preschool is a registered charity that is committee run. We aim to provide affordable childcare to everyone. All our staff are highly qualified and experienced Early Years professionals, undertaking regular training to enhance the children's learning and development. We strive to create a fun, happy and nurturing environment for everyone that attends.
We are an inclusive setting that aims to create a positive learning experience for all children to help them grow and develop whilst feeling supported at all times.
Parent partnership is important to us. We have an open door policy which means you can speak to your child's keyworker or any member of staff if required. Tapestry is our online learning and communication tool that parents can access to follow their child's development. We also have two open evenings each year to allow parents to talk to their child's key worker and discuss their learning.
We offer Preschool sessions for children aged 2-5 and Wrap around care in our Acorns Out of School Club from 7:30am - 6pm for children aged 2-11. School children must be attending Chuter Ede Balderton to access the club in term time.
We also run a holiday club from our very large setting during all school holidays with the exception of Christmas that is open to all children from the surrounding schools in the local area up to the age of 11.
